Vandy Gabriela Hall lives and works in Orlando, Florida. This vision has guided a career that unfolds across writing, research, visual arts, and daily work, which she also understands as a space for learning and transformation.
Trained at the University of Los Andes, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Latin American Literature and graduated Summa Cum Laude, her practice is based on a constant relationship between thought and creation. Before producing, she researches; before deciding, she analyzes. Her creative process is not impulsive, but structured: she establishes her own rules, schedules, and methodologies that allow her to inhabit each project with depth and rigor.
Throughout her professional career, she has developed a multifaceted identity that articulates different languages. She has worked as a freelance writer and ghostwriter for publishing and audiovisual projects, collaborating with Editorial Lioc, Universo Sensual, and DTV Productions. Her connection to narrative extends to film, supported by studies in screenwriting, criticism, and documentary production at institutions such as the National Film Foundation (FCN), the National Autonomous Center of Cinematography (CNAC), and ARGENTORES.
In parallel, her work experience encompasses diverse areas such as administration, logistics, and kitchen work, where she has held positions at companies like ILVI Médica C.A., Arby’s, Buca di Beppo, and, most recently, as a kitchen assistant in a school setting with Staffez. Far from being disparate career paths, these experiences have shaped a strong work ethic: punctuality, efficiency, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to teamwork.
Her artistic practice also manifests in the creation of textile pieces, tapestries, collages, and handcrafted works, where she explores materiality and composition with an intuitive yet carefully considered sensibility. In this space, her interest in research translates into experimentation with techniques, materials, and visual languages.
Bilingual in Spanish and English, Vandy Chacón is defined by her versatility and active engagement with knowledge.
